How does Attention Deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects children?

About 1.5% of children aged between 5 and 15 will be correctly diagnosed with ADHD.  It is more common in boys. In children with learning disabilities the rates go up to 20% and in cases of autism spectrum disorder the rates of ADHD can be found in about a 3 rd of them. The child suffering tends to exhibit listening difficulties and show extremely high impulsive behavior. A child will be very easily distracted, daydreaming, forgetting and losing things very frequently. Children with ADHD are overactive, frequently fidgety and restless, leave their seat constantly in the classroom without permission or talk excessively. Because of their ability and habit of learning new things learning anything new becomes extremely easy to them, but some of the kids exhibit a kind of learning disability. A learning disability is a neurological condition of the body which affects the brain’s ability to send, receive, and process information. A child with such a condition develops difficulty in reading, writing, speaking, listening, understanding mathematical concepts, and general comprehension. Learning disabilities include a number of disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. All these disorders can co-exist with each other in a single kid and cause a multi-dimensional issue in the kid.
