Fats are one of the essential nutrients in the food that helps in building nerve tissues and hormones. Fats provide energy to the body and they can be referred to as the building blocks of the body. The excess fat is stored by the body in fat cells as reserved energy to be used by the body in cases of emergency. Fats not only provide flavor and texture to the food but also help to maintain a good digestive system and a healthy gut. Excessive amounts of fatty food can cause severe health issues. Whenever we are talking about facts we always tend to discuss good fat and bad fat. Every individual irrespective of the country they belong to or the kind of food habit they have, consumes a lot of bad fat in their daily dietary habits. Unsaturated fats are found in plant foods and fish, which are considered Toby extremely beneficial for the human body and heart. Unsaturated fats can be further classified as monosaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats, and Omega 3 fatty acids.
