Anemia is basically a deficiency disease which is caused when there are not enough red blood cells or when there is a lack of hemoglobin in the body. Hemoglobin is basically responsible for transportation of oxygen to the entire body and red blood cells transport nutrients and minerals to the entire body along with oxygen.
